When Dbanj released the video of his collaboration with Snoop Doogg,  fans went berserk in a frenzy of watching, posting and downloading of the video. In a matter of minutes, the collaboration made headlines like no other entertainment news since 2010. Well, here is a short clip of an MTV BASE interview recently held with Dbanj. It seems the MO HIts crew have more surprises up their sleeves this year for both their fans and haters. Word is out, that a collaboration with  Kanye West is already in the works and a tweet from the American star to both dbanj and Don jazzy further corrroborates the news.

MO HITS crew are really repping Nigeria nicely and i can't wait to see what the union of Kanye West and the former is going to bring.

Asa's Performance at Victoires de La Musique 2011

Asa just keeps doing Africans proud. Remenber couple of weeks ago, we blogged about her nomination as the Best Female Act at  the 2011 edition of Victoires de La Musique. "The fire on the mountain" crooner did not emerge the winner of the Award ceremony that took place on the 1st of march,  but she was one of the performers at the ceremony. Asa performed "Be my man", one of the singles on her nw album"Beautiful Imperfection". As always she wowed the thousands of audience present at the award and i just have to add that she looked really cute in her attire, a yellow aso oke jacket (by a Nigerian Designer KemKemstudio) and black leather skinnies. Tha Suspect ft Sasha, Muna, Eva, Mo'Cheddah, Blaise and Zee - "I no send U remix" video

Terry G - Apako Master

Many of us have been wondering what Terry G has up his sleeves in this 2011, well he's out with a new single titled "Apako Master". This new single has the same beat as side 1's "one by one". Nice beat by the way, but i'm not sure i can say the same for Terry G's yrics. According to a source of mine, this beat was actually created by Terry G for Side 1, so the question now is "Why is Terry Ginjah using it". Here is hoping we get an answer to that question real soon. Collaborations seem to be the in thing in the music industry right now. Well ,word has gotten out that, the making of DJ Debby's "Emoti" video has finally been concluded and will be released soonest. "Emoti" features other budding artistes like Orezi(artiste under Culbeed Music Label), IGHO and Danagog. The video was shot inside Rehab nite club around Victoria Island.
