Omolara is one of the latest sensational singers /songwriters on the Nigerian music scene. She is currently under the Cobhams Asuquo Music Production (CAMP) where she released her first single "Be like Yours". Well the latest gist is that Omolara has freshly released two hot singles "Transformation" and "Lover". Transformation is written and produced by the virtuoso himself, Cobhams. The song preaches the gospel of believing in a new Nigeria where everybody regardless of language and tribe, works hand in hand to bring about a positive change. Transformation is one of those few songs that you listen to and can't stop thinkin about. Lover on the other hand is a love song about deep affections.

Oleku was so successful that it made Ice Prince a household name overnight. These Choc Boys just keep giving us reasons to appreciate music in another dimension but i cant say the same for the brand new video. These video is one of the most anticipated videos of 2011 but has failed to meet up to the expectations of some of us. Not so bad , but a lot more could have been done!

Orezi the "I no fit lie" crooner has finallly dropped the video of his song "Run this town" which was released sometime last year. The song which features another artist Yung Chef is a mix that was recorded basically to showcase Orezi's creativity. According to the CEO of Culbeed Music, RONKAY, the video was packaged solely for the internet because it is simply a mix and not a single off Orezi's yet to be released album.
During the interview, RONKAY also revealed that Orezi's album would be released within the second quarter of this year and it would have songs like I no fit lie, High BP, Don't compare me and Jamilaya. The album would also feature artistes like Terry G and UK based DJ JamJam.
"Run this town" basically captures the challenges and struggles upcoming artistes have to go through to make a name in the industry. Thumbs up to Orezi on this one. If he keeps droppimg hits like this, the sky would be his warming up ground.

We have so many music artistes having grudges against eachother and they feel the best way to thrash it out is to diss lyrically.Diss songs are becoming extremely common in the naija scene. Ditty Blaq as portrayed in his latest song "Judgement Time" seems to be accusing Terry G of stealing his beat used in terry G's Free Madness. Unknown to many, the beat of free madness was originally created and paid for, by Ditty Blaq. It was during the creation of the beat that Terry G actually freestyled on the beat and then "Free Madness" came to life. Former MBGN Munach Abi seems to be kick starting her music career as her debut album titled "The Goddess The Hustler" is slated to hit the market sometime this year. Muna has been working on this album since the middle of last year. The album which is produced by J.Sleek features other artists like Waje and Jesse Jags. Her recently released single "killer Queen" which features Buckwylla seems to give credence to the fact that Muna knows what she is doing but we can only hope she is not following the celebrity turned artist trend that so many stars seem to be following like twitter. Her rap style is quite cool but seems to me like she has a Nicki Minaj thing going on.
She is currently under RMG record label headed by Ayo Shonaiya. Muna was recently in the U.S to record about four of her songs but she is back in the country presently to shoot the video of "Pop Sugar another single off her yet to be released album.
I am sure i speak for a lot of people when i say i could never have pictured her for a rapper while she was strutting down the runwways during the MBGN contest.

However what seems to be the latest news is that the official video of the famous collaboration is now in the making. The CEO of MoHits Records and D'banj alongside Snoop Dogg are currently in Los Angeles shooting the video in a magnificient mansion in LA. Luti Fagbenle, BAFTA nominated film producer who is popular for directing hot videos for international artistes like Pitbull, Florida and Akon is incharge of directing the video.

Neyu Godwon Nyan a.k.a Godwon recently relocated from Houston, texas in the U.S to kickstart his music career in nNigeria. Back in the U.S, Godwon is known for winning Eminem's "Next Episode" freestyle battle in Houston. He is also a member of BET Hip Hop Awards voting Alumni.
Godwon's new hit "Too Much Money features Sauce Kid another budding artiste in the Nigerian Music Industry. Too Much Money is quite a good song but far from fantastic . Lets keep our fingers crossed and see what Godwon has to offer in the remaining part of 2011.
